Old Holland black gesso is a universal, lightfast primer for canvas, cotton, paper, stone and other materials. Old Holland black gesso is suitable for use with acrylics, oils, watercolours and egg tempera.

Old Holland black gesso can be diluted in a maximum of 20% water and applied in layers, with 3 or 4 hours drying time between layers.
